TOUCH ME HOOKER
Boston 1991
This music was a direct response to the current Hollywood scene at the time. Word of the Glamour Punks, Babydolls, Zeros etc.. had spread, and four kids from Boston wanted to take this music nation wide.
Internal struggle within the group would end this quest in less than a year. The core members of the band would head west to Hollywood, playing parts in the formation of the bands Astro Vamps, Sister Morphine, Tragedy, Never on Sunday and eventually heading home to Boston to reform as Stars Underground. Singer, Pink stayed in Boston and now fronts the band Biopop.
These Demo's were recorded Live to D.A.T. in 1991 by Chris Johnson, he would also head for the greener pastiers of Hollywood. Working with and producing the band Slamhound for years, and most recently producing the Josh Todd solo CD.

Had some problems with yousendit.com and certificates etc, but finally downloaded it.
Can't believe I had never heard of this band before (Well, up until you signed up at glitzinet that is) and I am HUGE fan of glam.
Again, killer stuff!

The Sex Pistols getting drunk with Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Wrathchild UK whilst pissing all over the walls of the Ramones' old rehearsal room. (Ramones ROCK!!!!).

Hey this is pretty good stuff, thanks for the link.
Not too sure about the vocals though, sound a bit too butch, if you know what I mean.
I prefer the vocals on this kind of stuff to be more bratty sounding (aka Hollywood Teasze, Sugar Shock)
It's been a while since I got some new glam demos so thanks for the link.
